Pier Eleven 25 March 2007
Coklat's friend was in Indonesia and asked coklat to take care his car for a few days. So, we planned to have dinner at Sg Yatch Club at West Coast, a place that can only be reached by car. Too bad, we didn't manage to go in. They said the restaurant was members only on weekend. What a waste.
After a few arguments, we went to Pier Eleven at Marina Bay, since we had a 20 dollars voucher from L&F. We made reservation, then we followed the map. Unfortunately, we got lost. At the end, we managed to reach the place after struggling through the map. (I was the one who read the map - no wonder we got lost in the first place)
The place was better than what we had expected. The setting was very nice and romantic, done at the side of the sea. The food was okay althouth the portion was quite small and a bit expensive. In my opinion, people visit that place more because of the settings instead of the food.
Coklat ordered steak and I ordered grilled prawn. We also ordered desert, a chocolate cake. It was fabulously done, with melted chocolate inside, even though it's quite ex, at around 12 dollar.
It was a tiring, but lovely day, since I was out from home since 7.30 in the morning.

It's Saturday morning 9 am, blue sky and nice weather, I woke up and headed to CCK.
Armed with sling bag contained sun block, sun glasses and extra clothes, meeting coklat in CCK. He was also prepared with a backpack contained a few pieces of bread and green tea.
Guess where were we going? We were going to visit Singapore zoo. We're a little late than we had planned. So we hurried to find the bus and reached zoo successfully in around 20 mins.
We managed to see tree tops trail and otter in their feeding time. Then we saw the pygmy hippo, Hamadryas Babbon and Primate Kingdom. After that on 11.30, we rushed to view the Elephant at Work and Play show inside Elephant of Asia. It's quite interesting how the elephant can help human to lift up tree trunk. I and coklat liked the show. =)
After that, we had our lunch and view Animal Friends Show at Children Worlds Animal Land at 12.30. The story was about animal and chinese zodiac. At 1.30, we viewed another show, Wonders of the Wild at Shaw Foundation Amphiteater.
Finally, we managed to see all of the 3 shows in Singapore Zoo. After that, we tried to view other animals that we hadn't seen. Pinguin, Sealion, Orang Utans, Chimpanzee, Mandrill, Proboscis Monkey. We also go into the Fragile forest which we took some picture of the beautiful butterflies and some ugly insects. After that, we went to Reptile garden and view some of the Africation Lion, Zebra, Cheetah, Giraffe, Eland, White Rhine and Polar Bear. I believe we almost see all of the animals there. =)

Good times
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance, ... (Ecclesiastes 3:1-4)
One thing for sure we know, usually good times pass so fast.
Most of the time, bad times linger on our mind longer/more than good times.
One of the reason that I suggested to have blog together to weave our good times here.
So that it will be a good source in the future to memorize our togetherness.
Let's start with some of what coklat has done that can make me smile.

- When I know coklat doesn't do his hobby (games) because of me.
- When I realize coklat do gym and sport to be 'great' in the next 3 month.

procastinator
Yeapz, I can easily be one :). Not a good character, you can say a bad one I suppose. I've been procastinating on writing the first blog in our join blog 'permen coklat'.
Not that I don't know what to write, nor that I don't know how to start.
Well anyway, since this is the first blog (excluding the 'test' post permen had post, and I deleted it) then we shall say 'Congratulations !'
This is the time when in Indonesia we will say, 'Garink!'
